Occupation: Gus teaches English Literature at King's College London.
Finance: He's fine. He's not rolling in it, but he's fairly spartan when it comes to things. Mostly he saves for Emily.
History: He came back to London after basically running away from commitment. He tends to do that. It's kinda backfired on him: one of his regular hook-ups, Chloe, turned up on his doorstep less than two years ago, eight months pregnant. Chloe was the one person less enamoured of commitment than Gus, and once Emily was about two months old, she moved out to her job in Africa, leaving Gus prime carer for their daughter. She turns up every so often, full of love and hugs, but won't ever settle down in London. One day she says Emily can come with her. Gus has made her promise that that they will give Emily that choice.

So now, the commitment-phobic Gus has found the love of his life: his little ray of sunshine, Emily, who he absolutely adores. No one is going to be good enough to join their team of two, and he is fiercely protective of their life together at home, rarely allowing visitors. It means he's fairly busy between work and looking after her, but he does find time to visit The Exchange when he can. The other light of his life is his sister, Beth.

Appearance

In Brief: Very, very tall. And blond. With very blue eyes. He's basically a lanky bastard, but he has some tone to him. He has very large hands and very long fingers. He wears suits very well, likes being barefoot, makes a lot of weird expressions and has a fantastic smile. He gets freckles in the summer everywhere because he tends to wander round naked.

He's a dom, he's bi, and he's also one of the nicest men alive, with a very sarcastic British sense of humour. If you cut him in half, he'd have the Union Jack running through him. He'll randomly quote poetry. He's never had anyone not like him. Except Beth's dates.
